About the centre

The aim of the Centre is to provide a fast diagnostic pathway for patients with suspected cancer, so that a final diagnosis can be established within 7–14 days. The Centre’s doctors come from leading oncology and multi-specialty hospitals in Silesia. Specialists in the following fields see patients at the Centre: clinical oncology, radiation oncology, surgical oncology, gynaecological oncology, haematology and clinical transplantology, thoracic surgery, dermatology and general surgery. We perform fine-needle biopsies of the breast, lymph nodes, soft-tissue tumours and thyroid, as well as ultrasound-guided core needle biopsies of the breast, soft-tissue tumours and lymph nodes (new LOGIQ P6 PRO scanner), and other surgical procedures under local anaesthesia; we also have a unique Dermatoscopy Unit.

We work with the National Institute of Oncology (NIO) in Gliwice and the Zagłębie Oncology Centre in Dąbrowa Górnicza - facilities that guarantee state-of-the-art cancer treatment.

The Centre’s multi-specialty medical facilities allow us to help not only patients with cancer-related problems, but everyone who needs a specialist consultation in our Clinics, a variety of laboratory tests and ultrasound examinations, or who wishes to have a dermatoscopic examination. The Centre is accessible to patients with disabilities.
